What this map is
The Elbit Supply Chain Map is an independently maintained, public-interest research map of facilities associated with Elbit Systems Ltd and its supply chain: the company's own factories and headquarters, its majority-owned subsidiaries, and subcontractor facilities working for Elbit or its subsidiaries. The dataset is curated — there are no live feeds, and entries change only when research supports a change.
The map covers facilities only. Financial flows (investors, defence contracts) and other manufacturers are out of scope unless a facility substantively subcontracted for Elbit.
How entries are built
- Research. Each entry begins from published sources: corporate filings (e.g. SEC, UK Companies House), the company's own publications, credible press reporting, and civil-society research.
- Verification. A second researcher reviews each entry against its sources before publication. Ownership chains are traced through corporate registries where available.
- Publication. An entry goes public only with at least one named source and a confidence rating. Editors can update or unpublish entries as evidence changes.
Confidence badges
Every entry carries a confidence badge describing the strength of its sources — not a judgement about people working at a site:
- Confidence: high
- Primary documents (filings, official registries) directly confirm the facility and its relationship to Elbit.
- Confidence: medium
- Reputable secondary sources (press, NGO reporting) confirm the claim; some detail is inferred or partially dated.
- Confidence: low
- Evidence is thin or historical — the entry is published for transparency but should be treated as provisional.
Scope boundaries: what the map deliberately excludes
This map includes only entities with a documented relationship to Elbit Systems — as owner, operator, joint-venture partner, or supplier with recorded shipments or contracts. Investigated items that failed this test are documented here rather than mapped:
- Touche Ltd (Companies House 12178054) — a no-employee micro-company near Instro Precision reported by Private Eye (Aug 2026) as routing roughly a fifth of controlled UK→Israel military exports. Companies House shows no directorship overlap with Elbit or Instro, so the map omits it as unverified; the press attribution is noted for researchers.
- ParcAberporth, West Wales — the UK's UAV test site, used for Thales Watchkeeper flight trials (an Elbit Hermes 450 flew the inaugural test). It is owned by the Welsh Government with QinetiQ operating adjacent facilities: Elbit is a user, not an owner or operator, so the site does not meet the inclusion bar.
- Azerbaijan "UAV joint-production plant" (2011 reporting) — verified as Azad Systems Company, a state-owned firm licence-producing Aeronautics Defense Systems designs. Not an Elbit facility; Elbit systems in Azerbaijani service are imports.
Corrections
Entries list all their sources so every claim can be checked. If you find an error, or hold primary documents that change an entry, contact the maintainers — corrections are applied with an updated source list.
